Greetings, Friends,

I’m excited to tell you all that the sequel to Fixed Stars, Love That Moves the Sun, is coming very soon! The book will be released on 1 November 2024, and it is now available for pre-order.

Love That Moves the Sun is a clean Pride & Prejudice variation of approximately 100,000 words. The story explores what it takes for a broken family to find reconciliation. You can expect familial angst, social intrigue, and a triumphant HEA for Darcy and Elizabeth.

Here’s the summary:

After overcoming scandal and rejection, Elizabeth Darcy returns to Hertfordshire with her new husband and sister. Elizabeth hopes for some reconciliation with her family before making her London debut. Darcy just wants to protect her from any unjust judgment—by the Bennets or by the Ton. Can they make peace with their past while securing the future of the Darcy family? And how will the Bennets respond to their return?

Marriage is not all Jane Bingley had hoped it would be: she misses and resents her sister Elizabeth in equal measure; her new sisters-in-law are domineering harpies; and her husband seems cheerfully oblivious to her unhappiness. How will the arrival of the Darcys change her new life at Netherfield? And how is she supposed to face the ton after the scandal of her broken engagement to Mr. Darcy?

If you prefer not to pre-order, Love That Moves the Sun will also be available on Kindle Unlimited on the release date. If you have the time, it would be a huge help if you could read during the first week after release. Pre-orders and early readers make it more likely that the tricksy Amazon algorithms will promote my work, which in turn helps other readers find it.

Please know how grateful I am to you all for your support of my work. Just signing up for this newsletter was a kindness, and I truly appreciate it.
